Call for Student Travel Grant Applications

Thanks to the generous support from SIGIR, SIGWEB, and Facebook, CIKM 2013 is pleased to provide a number of travel grants for student participants. Each travel grant will partly cover the costs of a student's travel, lodging, meals expenses and conference registration fees.

Eligibility Criteria:

• The applicant must be a student at the time of conference registration.
• The applicant should be willing to serve as a volunteer during the conference.

Application Procedure:

The student who already submitted the application for volunteers will be automatically considered for travel grant application. The other students who are interested in travel grants should send the following information in an email message to Dr. Yi Fang at , with the subject "CIKM2013 student travel grant application".

• Name and affiliation
• Contact information (email and cell phone)
• Short bio or CV
• Advisor's name
• Proof of full-time student status (e.g. a copy of student ID)
• Please indicate days and times when you are unable to work as a volunteer

Applications must be received by Sept 15th for full consideration, and will be notified of acceptance by Sept 30th.
